Researchers at the U of C want to understand why women have lower endurance (aerobic) capacity than men. Specifically, they are looking for women and men willing to visit their laboratory at least twice for about 3 hours per visit (parking expense covered). Key parameters of cardiac function, blood volume, body composition and endurance capacity will be measured and modulated by expert physiologists. They will fully explain the relevance of each measurement and the participants will have access to their results.
For more information or to participate, visit the U of C site.
